Research Study for Steadi-One Device

Research Studies

Dr. Philippe Rizek, neurologist/movement disorders specialist, in Mississauga, Canada is conducting a research study to document the efficacy of the Steadi-One on tremor reduction in essential tremor (ET).

The Steadi-One is a battery-free glove worn on an affected arm that is designed to sense and dampen involuntary arm movements.

To be eligible for participation, patients must be at least 18 years of age and have a diagnosed ET. Individuals who are incapable of providing informed consent or who are incapable or unwilling to complete the necessary assessment tasks will be ineligible to participate.

Each participant will only be tested once, and each visit will take approximately two hours.

For patients with a diagnosis of essential tremor interested in participating, please have your family physician or neurologist fax a referral to 905-232-6557.
