Praxis Medicines is conducting a study on an oral drug to see if it may reduce symptoms of essential tremor. There are three parts to the study: screening, treatment and follow-up. It lasts up to 14 weeks, and includes up to 8 visits at the study clinic and 4 telephone check-in visits.

How Do You Qualify?
You may be eligible for the Essential1 study if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Have had symptoms of essential tremor for at least 3 years
- Experience tremors in both hands
- Have not had surgery for your essential tremor
Depending on the medication you are currently taking for essential tremor, you may be able to continue that medication. The study staff will be able to give you more information about the specific medications you are taking as well as discuss with you any additional criteria to participate.
