Help Us Support College Students with ET on Giving Tuesday
The support Kelley received through the IETF’s scholarship program made a difference – and it’s because of your donations!
“Through this scholarship program, IETF cultivates an asset-based mindset, celebrating and supporting the academic achievements of those who may otherwise be perceived as being limited by ET. Thank you to all the past and present donors and supporters of the IETF scholarship!” Kelley said.
Each year the IETF uses 100% of the donations received on GivingTuesday to help college students like Kelley by awarding eight $1,000 scholarships to students with essential tremor.
GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back by volunteering, donating and supporting organizations that do good in the community and the world. This year GivingTuesday falls on December 3.
But you don’t have to wait until that day to contribute to this special scholarship fund. You can make a donation online now to help students like Kelley, and the many others the IETF has supported through the years.
Tremelo: Non-Invasive Device that Stabilizes Hand Tremors
Tremelo is a hand stabilizing device created to help people with essential tremor live a more capable and happier life. Many people who have attended the IETF’s Essential Tremor Education Forums in the past year may have seen and tested this device, created by Five Microns. The company has announced Tremelo is now available to order.
Studies have shown Tremelo safely reduces arm shaking and improves fine motor skills for people with hand tremors. It uses innovative mechanical concepts and mechanisms to reduce tremors in a non-invasive fashion. It uses no chemicals, no nerve or brain stimulation, and has no side effects
When using Tremelo, people with moderate to severe ET are able to eat, drink, and pour liquid spill-free.
Order Tremelo now and receive it before the holidays.
