Graham Gaddis

Scholarship Recipient:
Graham Gaddis

2018 and 2019

Just like others with the condition, Graham Gaddis is presented with everyday challenges because of his essential tremor. It affects his ability to write legibly, hold a drink in his hand and spread peanut butter on his sandwich. But, he is determined to not let it take over his life.

“In the shadows and in the quiet, I have found an identity, and much of this identity has developed from facing head-on the difficulties of living with essential tremor,” he said. “I realize that having ET has actually strengthened my resolve to tackle life’s challenges and achieve my personal goals.”

Gaddis graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA. He was active in a number of volunteer programs including Grace Air Ministries and the local Veteran’s Service Project. He also dedicated numerous service hours to those in need in his community.

He is studying food production/farming at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
